| Project Description: | This
project consists of construction of Portland cement concrete apron pavement
and asphalt concrete pavement and overlay of a portion of Taxiway T and
furnishing and installing ground run-up enclosure, and installing various
utility lines and a hydrant fueling system. Schedule of Work (Phasing) The work performed was separated into 3 phases for the paving work and a separate phase for the ground run-up enclosure as follows: ![]() Phase I: Completed the majority of the paving in the Remaining Overnight Apron, which is bordered by Taxiways T, B, and U. This phase also required the installation of all the utilities in the area including jet fuel, electrical, water, and storm drains. (Duration is 285 calendar days). Phase II: Completed paving area at the northeast corner of the apron adjacent to Taxiway T and the installation of jet fuel line and electrical duct bank across Taxiway T and a sanitary force main line across Taxiway V (Duration is 315 calendar days). Phase III: Overlaying Taxiway T from Taxiway S to Taxiway B and overlaying the existing temporary RON. This phase also includes installation of jet fuel line, water line, and high voltage duct bank across Taxiway T and at the shoulder of Taxiway B (Duration is 400 calendar days). The Ground Run up Enclosure
is done concurrently with the other phases and consists of a three-sided
structure with walls up to 40 feet tall to be used to test the aircraft
jet engines. (Duration is 375 calendar days). |
| Paragon's Role: | As Prime Consultant, Paragon provided construction management services for paving of the Remaining Overnight Apron. This project required the installation of all the utilities in the area including jet fuel, electrical, water, and storm drains. |
